Founded by the daughter of two immigrant parents, her mother being from the Philippines and her father from Sicily, she has found confidence in her own style and cultural influences in her sustainably recycled and handmade clothing.
🌿We use compostable mailers being certified by all three industry certifiers; TUV Austria, BPI and Dincerto - including certifications for your domestic home compost. After degredation, they leave no harmful residue. Instead, it acts as a soil enhancer which is returned to the Earth as plant based food!
🌿 Our stickers and business cards are made from 100% recycled material and printed with soy-based inks. They are also compostable and are FSC-certified which guarantees that our paper has been sourced in a responsible, sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. (Even the adhesive for our stickers are biodegradable!)
🌿 Our swimwear fabrics are only made using deadstock, limited edition fabric, or recycled ECONYL fabric made from post-consumer waste such as plastic, fishing nets, and carpet scraps. Our custom-printed fabric uses eco-friendly soy inks!
🌿 We SUPPORT small artists and donate to big causes. LALELE supports Black Lives Matter (BLM), POC, those with disabilities or mental illnesses, pro-immigrants, pro-sex work, pro-LGBTQ+, pro-CHOICE, women's rights, environmental rights, human rights, and gun control - what we believe is basic compassion for humanity.
